SURA Investments appoints Renzo Vercelli as the Country Manager for Chile

SURA Investments, the new Latin American investment platform through which the SURA Asset Management group strengthens its investment businesses for the region, has a new Country Manager for Chile. The person appointed to this position is civil engineer Renzo Vercelli, who graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.

The platform has a presence in Chile, Peru, Mexico, Colombia, Uruguay, and Argentina, and brings together over 100 investment experts and 1,200 collaborators. As of July, this branch of SURA managed assets worth over US$18 million.

In addition to assuming this role in Chile, Vercelli will also take on the position of Executive Director of Wealth Management, where he will lead the investment business line for individuals across all the countries where SURA Investments operates.

Vercelli has been with the company for over 19 years and previously served as Vice President of Voluntary Business at SURA Investments. Before that, he was the General Manager of Stockbrokers at the same company, Investment Manager at ING (now SURA), and General Manager of SURA General Fund Administrator.
